Our wooden rattle also doubles as a teether as an alternative to plastic to soothe babys tender gums. Sculpted from Black Cherry wood with a contrasting Birch dowel, our rattles are sanded baby smooth then beeswax is applied by hand, bringing out the uniqueness of each grain. It is sure to become a treasured keepsake from babyhood. To maintain the life and luster of the rattle hand rubbing with a food grade beeswax polish or walnut oil (do not use if you have nut allergies) as often as you like is encouraged. We recommend Three BEEautiful Bees, organic beeswax polish.
